Psychological Therapy
Psychological Therapy
Having assessed your individual needs during your psychological assessment, your psychologist will suggest the most appropriate plan for therapy. Depending on your goals for therapy and your current difficulties, our psychologists are experienced in delivering integrative therapy, drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches. We will always work hard to incorporate your preferences, so if you have had previous therapy or want to try a specific therapeutic approach, do let us know and we can match you up with one of our psychologists.
Our psychologists are always expanding their knowledge and expertise and regularly undertake training in additional therapeutic approaches. Our team have been busy training in Eye Movement Desensitation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and we are excited to announce we have just opened a waiting list.
We only deliver gold standard, evidence based therapy, so you can be confident that you have access to the best psychological interventions.

What to expect from psychological therapy
Most people chose to have therapy either weekly or fortnightly. You can decide with your psychologist what works best and we will always do our best to be flexible and offer appointments to suit you. Typically, we try to give you the same day and time slot, as we find it helps to have consistency.
Experience has taught us that therapy works best when people practise the things they have learnt outside of their appointments. Because of this, your psychologist is likely to ask you to complete some in between session work. All appointments take place online, unless you have requested additional psychological services such as an Autism or ADHD assessment. All therapy appointments must be paid for 48 hours before your session.
